Your organisation will require adequate capacity to implement such a program. You will need to think about the resources that you have available including personnel, financial, skills and expertise. You should assess your organisation’s own capacity, liability and insurance for working with young people both so you can be realistic about what is feasible and so you can include in your work plan any organisational changes that need to be made to support the program.

Consider:

• Is this program replicating something that already exists?
• What services are other organisations providing?
• Does your organisation work well with other services providing similar services?
